This program is designed to prepare the student for a managerial position. This program is idle for small business owner and individual interested in entry level supervisory position A business manager may take on a variety of different positions within a business, all of which involve the planning, directing, and coordinating of operations within a company. A manager may specialize in a specific function within the company or manage the entire operation of the company.
Program goal: Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to develop and write a business plan, develop marketing and advertising campaign and perform simple business accounting and bookkeeping.
Program length: 20 weeks
Program Schedule:M-W or T-TH 6PM-8PM

This is a program designed to prepare the student for an entry level home energy auditor. Auditors use diagnostic equipment to assess the cost-effective energy conservation opportunities in homes. They use these test results to evaluate living units for health, safety and energy efficiency.
Program goal: Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to assess energy and water saving opportunities, conduct visual inspection of existing electronics and appliances to determine their energy rating; identify problem areas in heating and cooling systems.
Program Length 20 Weeks

Reducing Lighting Costs
Heating and Cooling Systems
Electronics, Appliances, and Water Heaters

Internship (4) Weeks: (160)Hours
Each student will be placed in a business that is involved in energy auditing. Placements may be with a local energy provider, e.g. Edison, Sempra Energy Company, a local construction company or architectural firm, etc. |

This program is designed to prepare the student for an entry level solar system or solar energy technician. As each phase of any solar energy project requires the services of many technicians with various skills, a solar system technician may install, maintain, operate and test equipment and energy systems that use solar energy. A technician may help construct and install active or passive solar systems.
Program goal: Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to select and adapt a system design; conduct a site assessment, perform a checkout and inspection and maintain and trouble shoot any solar system.
Program Length:16 Weeks (12 weeks in classroom – 4 weeks internship)
